From there, you can take a boat trip to Vila Nova de Milfontes, a journey that can evoke the numerous voyages of large grain transport ships from Odemira, stopping at Casa Branca, heading towards Lisbon.
The Mira River is 1.5 km away from Casas da Cerca, along a route of unparalleled beauty and abundant wildlife. This cozy and mysterious river has also been quite creative, as it was one of the sources of inspiration in 1965 for the famous "Yesterday" by the Beatles.
