Casas da Cerca wishes you a warm welcome
Three Natural Country Cottages in Troviscais 35 minutes from the beaches
Introduction
Casas da Cerca/Casa de Campo is a Rural Tourism establishment that arose from the restoration of old buildings which, due to their unique characteristics, both in terms of their construction with natural materials and their location, deserved to be rebuilt and adapted to modern times.
Casas da Cerca has been part of the Monte Novo dos Troviscais property for approximately 60 years, near the Mira River, in the heart of the Southwest Alentejo and Costa Vicentina Natural Park, in one of its most protected areas. It is set in an area of outstanding rural and environmental quality.
Casas da Cerca/Casa de Campo consists of three houses: Casa da Adega, Casa do Tanque, and Casa do Pomar.
The houses are located in a secluded and paradisiacal part of the property, surrounded by native vegetation such as rockrose, strawberry trees, olive trees, cork oaks, etc., showcasing some of the best habitats nature has to offer.
In this place where silence speaks through the sounds of birds, you can sometimes hear foxes at night and feel the presence of wild boars. The Mira River is about 1.5 km from Casas da Cerca and can be reached by car, bicycle, or on foot (a 15 to 20-minute walk) along a stunning and beautifully scenic path. In the river, you can enjoy a delightful swim in salty waters.
Note: Although the river is usually safe with a weak current, it should be used responsibly. Children should always be accompanied by adults who know how to swim.
At Casas da Cerca your pet is welcome.
